Epic Games activated five new Fortnite Admin Panel codes with the September 17 v42.20 update, according to VICE's roundup. The report says the codes reward items including Sprite Dust, Llama Supply Drops and Extraction Accelerators, and that none of them unlock new Sprites. The most notable listed addition, VICE says, is BLINKYINKYPINKYCLYDE, which grants 5,000 Sprite Dust that can be spent on new Loot Hack upgrades introduced during Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. [1] [1]
The complete list VICE published includes MagicIsReal, listed as tied to a Bastian Quest with its reward still to be announced, plus ChatFindMeAnotherCode for two Cheat Code Locators, Destiny Awaits for two Llama Supply Drops, BLINKYINKYPINKYCLYDE for 5,000 Sprite Dust and OCTURNEOP55N1 for two Extraction Accelerators. Players redeem each password in the Admin Panel inside the Fortnite lobby menu, and VICE advises typing the codes exactly as shown, including spaces and numbers. At the time of writing, the report said only five codes had been announced. [1] [1]
A VICE preview published the day before the patch took a different view of several of the same passwords. That piece said NocturneOp55N1 was tied to a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration, BlinkyInkyPinkyClyde to PAC-MAN and DestinyAwaits to Kingdom Hearts, and that the codes would activate either on September 17 or sometime after the patch. It attributed the DestinyAwaits discovery to dataminer Blortzen, said the password was reportedly hidden inside a Kingdom Hearts marketing video, and noted the code was not officially confirmed. Rewards were unknown at that point because the codes had not yet been activated, the preview said. [2]
The September 17 roundup does not reconcile those earlier collaboration labels with the reward list it published; the preview had framed them as expectations, while the later piece presented five codes as activated. The same patch also adds the Kingdom Hearts collaboration with Sora, Riku, Kairi and Roxas skins, and players can find the new Mythic Kingdom Key weapon on the Island, according to VICE. Neither VICE piece describes the codes' underlying mechanics, so nothing in the captured material establishes whether the Admin Panel codes are intentional reward mechanisms, reused or leaked internal tooling, or a recurring pattern across patch cycles. Sources & limitations
No original Epic Games document, patch note or code-issuance history was captured, so the exact activation status, reward values and account mechanics of each code rest entirely on VICE roundups.
All captured passages are from one publisher, VICE, so coverage is single-outlet and cannot be treated as independent corroboration; the preview and the follow-up are the same newsroom reporting the same beat.
The commissioning topic asked whether Admin Panel codes are deliberate reward mechanisms, reused or leaked codes, or a recurring post-patch pattern. Captured sources do not address that question; no code lifecycle, security or trust analysis was found, and the article therefore cannot answer it.
Dates and events are mixed between planned and completed: the September 16 preview described what was expected before the v42.20 patch, while the September 17 piece described what had been activated. Some listed codes, rewards or tie-ins remain unconfirmed.
Two sources were partially quoted for context and only the captured passages are used; the app resolves passage IDs to the original text in the capture log.
No original document was captured. Available evidence consists of publisher reporting.
Some candidate sources were inaccessible or outside the supported research domains; consult the capture log.
