Limits of this record

Research coverage is limited to three captures of the same Press Information Bureau announcement, in English, Urdu and Hindi. No independent documentation, non-government analysis, or expert commentary was available, so no figure or claim could be elevated above attributed status.

The discovery title suggested a map showing what India cannot build, with gaps bigger than expected. None of the captured passages address unmet construction capacity, failed projects, shortfalls or a map of what cannot be built. That framing is not supported and is omitted from public assertions.

All substantive figures are attributed to a single government primary source describing its own dashboard. The English, Urdu and Hindi releases are non-independent captures of the same announcement and do not constitute corroboration.

The release carries a posting date of 16 April 2026, but some figures cover periods ending 30 September 2025, 31 December 2025, 28 February 2026 and 30 October 2025. Comparisons across these periods are drawn directly from the release and were not independently reconciled.

We cannot verify whether the dashboard and its indicator counts are fully operational; only the ministry's announcement was captured. The next update on 16 July 2026 is a planned event that has not been demonstrated.

No evidence of disagreement among sources was found, but absence of disagreement is not proof of consensus.

corroboration: The operation was aborted due to timeout
